General Policies

NO ILLEGAL DRUGS PERMITTED on board. (Zero Tolerance). Grounds for immediate termination, with out refund, of trip. All incidents reported to US Coast Guard. It's the law.
Please be prepared in the event of sea-sickness ( bring with you the necessary medication(s). The captain and crew are not permitted to dispense any  medication(s).
No matter who you are, or what you do, absolutely NO FIREARMS or FIREWORKS PERMITTED onboard.(Period)
Beer is permitted in moderation. No "hard" liquor permitted. The captain reserves the right to terminate the trip at any time without refund due to intoxication /bad behavior.
Don't forget "sea sickness" and other medications, Captain and crew are not permitted to dispense medications.  
All federal, state and local "size" and "bag" limits will be strictly enforced. There are no exceptions.
CHARTER TRIPS
The mate works on tips only. A 20%  minimum tip is expected.
A deposit of $100.00 is required for all charter trips. The balance is due (in cash) the day of your charter. (no checks or credit cards accepted at the dock).
It is your responsibility to confirm your trip at least 24 hours prior to departure of your trip.
ALL CANCELLATIONS are The Captains decision only. Cancellations must be done at least ten days prior to the charter date. Short notice cancellations, we reserve the right to retain your deposit. If you do not show up on the day and time of your charter, you forfeit your deposit and are responsible for balance of charter fee.
The Captain reserves the right to cancel/reschedule any trip due bad weather or mechanical failure. Every effort will be made to reschedule the trip to a mutually convenient date or, your deposit will be refunded.
Captain will notify you of any change or cancellation as far in advance as possible. (Weather conditions at your home may not be the same as at the boat).
If you arrive after your departure time, your trip may shortened by that amount of time. Captain will hold your reservation one (1) hour past your scheduled departure time. It is your responsibility to notify the Captain/ boat if you will arrive late.
All fish caught to be kept, belong to the customer. The  mate will clean, fillet and pack the fish for you. You are welcome to leave any unwanted fish with the boat.
OPEN BOAT/ SPLIT CHARTER TRIPS
All fish caught  belong to the customer. Only limited cleaning of fish on Open Boat trips. You might want plastic bags, ice, and a small cooler  bring home your fish. You are welcome to leave any unwanted fish with the boat. It is customary to "Tip" the mate.
All bait is provided at no additional cost, tackle may be rented for a nominal fee, you may of course bring your own. Additional hooks, rigs,sinkers, etc. are available at nominal fees.
Only small personal entertainment devices with earphones permitted.



Things To Remember

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before departure time for all trips.
For your comfort and safety, boat shoes, sneakers or  rubber soled fishing boots only.
Bait  (tackle and ice for the fish/charter trips) are included. You are welcome to bring your own.  Passengers are responsible for all equipment lost or broken due to negligence. Additional hooks, rigs, etc provided at no extra cost on charter trips only.
You may want ice/cooler to bring home your catch. For a  comfortable safe fishing area, a limited number are permitted on board. Leave  remaining coolers dockside for your return.
Full Day Trips from June - October may be "mixed bag"...Stripers, fluke, blues, porgies, etc. be ready for some "Reel Action".
Twilight /Sundown trips are late afternoon /early evening. (4 hours - flexible)
If prime species is unavailable, we will fish for next suitable species.
Dress accordingly, bring a hat, jacket, shirt, sweat shirt, sunglasses, sun-screen and motion sickness mediation [Captain and crew cannot dispense medications]. For night, fall/winter fishing, bring warm clothing. And possibly rain-gear for any time.
Ice is not provided for food and beverages. You are responsible for your own food and beverages. Please bring your beverages in plastic or metal containers.
