"FISHUNTER" was designed and built for sport fishing. Custom built in Maine to meet the rigorous demands of offshore/charter fishing, and outfitted for Northeast fishing conditions. Not a converted pleasure boat, she exceeds all Coast Guard requirements for a six passenger charter boat. Commissioned in August, 2002 to replace a smaller and slower boat, "FISHUNTER" is larger, faster and more comfortable. Fishing from an oversized cockpit, you always feel safe and secure. The interior of the cabin is roomy and comfortable with seats for all passengers. For those chilly spring and fall days, those cool summer nights you will find the cabin heated for your comfort. The Stand-up Head can comfortably accommodate women and family members. There are  bunks down below and in the cabin for those who like to "rest up" on the way out, or back from the fishing grounds.

"FISHUNTER"  charter trip passengers use premium grade, custom made expertly maintained tackle. All hooks, rigs,sinkers, etc. are included in charter fee.   In addition to the fishing tackle, you will find all the needed safety and tournament gear. That too, is kept in tip-top condition. All fish caught, that will be kept, are properly bled, and iced (charter trips) to ensure their fine eating qualities.

"FISHUNTER" Open Boat trips are "Hands On - No Frills fishing". Customers actively participate in baiting, hooking and landing their own fish. All bait,is included. Tackle can be rented a nominal fee. You may of course bring your own (Boat Type Rods Only).  Extra hooks, rigs and sinkers are available on the boat for nominal fees. With a maximum of six passengers, this is Charter Boat Fishing at Party Boat Prices.

"FISHUNTER" boasts a complete electronics package, including Loran-C, GPS w/ differential, Electronic Chart Plotter, Radar, Fishfinder, Epirb, VHF Radios, Auto pilot and more.

"FISHUNTER", the 38 foot  fiberglass Sport Fishing boat, offers your best chance to catch Striped Bass, Weakfish, Bluefish, Fluke, Porgies, Sea Bass  and   more. With departure times arranged for your convenience, you can be catching fish while others are just arriving on the fishing grounds.

"FISHUNTER" has maximized cruising speed and range. Powered by a Caterpillar turbo charged diesel engine for speed, safety and comfort. With 420 horse power, a cruising speed  of 20 knots, while maintaining stability, she is one of the faster charter boats in the fleet. To you the customer, this means less time riding and more time fishing.

FISHUNTER" has no Flybridge, (upper control station), where the Captain is far removed from the action and customers. The Captain, along with the mate, are always close at hand in the cockpit when you need them.
